Republic of Serbia is placed in the central part of Balkan peninsula. Serbia is one of the oldest countrys in the Europe. The main city is Belgrade, with 1,6 million of inhabitants and he is administrative, economic and cultural center of the Serbia. Serbia has 7.5 milion of citisens, and her teritory is 88.360 km/sqr.

The remains oh its long and turbulent history still exists on a hill overlooking the Sava and Danube rivers and that is site of the fortress of Belgrade. Many historical layers come one upon the other. The present-day archeological and historical site is surrounded by the most attractive city park, bearing the old Turkish name of this place – Kalemegdan, the very best place for starting explore Belgrade. Kalemegdan is not only part of our history, but of our own lives as well. Like no other location in the City, Kalemegdan represents Belgrade giving mental picture of the Serbian Capital.
The old town of Belgrade spreads its streets narrow and wide build in Neo-classical and Neo-renaissance styles. Some of them are old Turkish houses as well as numerous facades decorated in Art nouveau, contribute to the variety of Belgrade’s architectonic heritage.
Belgrade is able to attract tourists, both if they traveling on business or experiencing something new: welcoming city where the newcomer finds it easy to settle down.
The streets and squares of the capital are always busy and alive with people, mostly the young. Many indoor and open-air cafes and restaurants make a pleasant stop for coffee or beer. Some downtown streets are serene and gentle, others are busy and quaint, with a number of luxurious shops selling works of art, jewelry and clothes.
In spite of its recent history, Belgrade, or White City, as it is called in the local language, is a large and vibrant cosmospolitan city. And unlike other European cities like Prague or Vienna, Belgrade remains untainted by mass tourism, providing a more 'real' experience.

Subotica
The Subotica region occupies a heartland position in the great plain and is surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains, Alps and the mountains of the Balkan Peninsula. In fact, the city lies slightly to the north from the Bela Crkva – Stara Pazova – Sremska Mitrovica line designating 45° of the North Temperate Zone. There are traffic – related factors in the background of Subotica' s beneficial position, especially in view of the fact that the city is located on the presently most important spatial and strategic direction: Corridor X.
The region's climate is typical for the great plain, with very hot summers and severe winters and small annual guantity of sediments. Northerly cold and westerly wet winds are the most frequent of the various winds that blow in the region, thus the vegetation is typical of a steppe, but it was replaced, in the course of times, with cultivated crops.
Vršac
Vrsac, one of the 34th 2005 European Basketball Championship host towns, is situated 85 km north-east of Belgrade, on the edge of the Pannonian plain, at the foot of the Vršac mountains, only 14 km away from the Romanian border. The town lies on the international road Belgrade-Timisoara and one can arrive from the capital in an hour by car. Zrenjanin
Zrenjanin, city (1991 pop. 81,316), Republic of Serbia, in the Vojvodina region, on the Begej River. Niš
The Emperor's city of Nis is today, in 21st century, a city with the population of around 350.000 inhabitants. As a traffic crossroad of European roads and railroads, together with an airport, it can easily be reached from all directions. The international highway E-75, stretching from the north, forks at Niš to the southern direction, towards Athens, and to the eastern direction, towards Istambul and further on to the Near East.
